Izzie Lewis

I had the privilege of visiting Izzie Lewis, another renowned miller in Seattle. Izzie graciously opened her studio to me on a rainy morning, letting me observe her at work. She also teaches her craft to a group of dedicated students, some of which have gone on to forge careers of their own.

Jean Hicks

I had the honor of shooting at the studio of Jean Hicks, a renowned milliner and felt-maker. Jean's work has been exhibited around the world (including the Smithsonian). It was real fun to see her at work and to learn more about her fascinating craft, which is painstaking to accomplish from start to finish.

Street Portraits

I participated in an amazing street photography class last week. I was never brave enough to approach strangers but thanks to our teacher and fellow students' support, I got these results. Perhaps I should keep pursuing this style?
