Two months ago, I got to spend the morning with the intermediate class at Amblard Leather Atelier. In the last several years, master leather artisan Beatrice Amblard has been teaching her craft to over hundreds of students. It's beyond gratifying to see her knowledge and techniques passed on to so many passionate individuals—the enthusiasm is palpably infectious. I can't wait to see her students evolve to the next level with this old world craft.
